Job Opportunity: Careers & Welfare Co-ordinator

The Manchester College is seeking a skilled and compassionate Careers & Welfare Co-ordinator to join our team at our City Campus. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in delivering an effective CEIAG Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance service to our learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate and deliver a high-quality CEIAG service to individuals and groups of clients
  • Support learners in their educational and career journeys
  • Work with key stakeholders and employers to maximise learners' positive experience
  • Manage own workflow and effective time-management skills
  • Establish positive relationships with colleagues and clients
Requirements:
  • Level 6 Career qualification or a minimum of a Level 4 Qualification in Guidance, willing to work towards a Level 6 qualification
  • Numeracy and Literacy skills (to level 2 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and experience of working in the Career and Guidance industry
  • Ability to deal sensitively, flexibly and with empathy with clients from a range of cultural, ethnic and welfare backgrounds
