We are recruiting for a highly motivated Survivor Empowerment Lead to join our Technology-facilitated Abuse and Economic Empowerment Team at Refuge. As an Economic and Domestic Abuse Lead, you will play a key role in delivering a unique partnership project, supporting survivors to increase their safety and regain economic independence.

About the Role:

The postholder will work closely with our talented Tech and Economic Abuse leads, supporting survivors to achieve the best possible outcomes. This includes managing a caseload of survivors, providing holistic support to assess and increase their safety, and connecting them with local domestic abuse support services where appropriate. The postholder will also advise on securing online accounts and devices, ensuring survivors have access to safe bank accounts, advocating with banks and creditors to tackle fraud and coerced debt, and empowering survivors to regain control of their finances.

About You:

We are looking for someone with experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse who is passionate about increasing survivor safety and reaching the best outcomes for everyone they support. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a talented team.
