About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Design Engineer to join our team at Manpower Group (UK). As a key member of our water infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering sustainable water management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Utilize your expertise to design and develop water infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and client requirements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough data analysis to inform design decisions and produce detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Engineering Solutions and Drawings: Prepare and present engineering solutions, including drawings, reports, and calculations, to support project delivery.
  • Team Collaboration and Supervision: Work collaboratively with team members to foster strong relationships with clients and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance and support to junior staff as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health, safety, and welfare regulations, such as the Construction, Design and Management Regulations.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a solid technical background in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure, with an openness to applicants from related fields.
  • Software Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office and a basic understanding of engineering software like AutoCAD.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, producing clear and concise reports.
  • Project Delivery: Demonstrate a proven track record of working well in a team environment, meeting project deadlines, and delivering high-quality results.
