About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Education Support Professional to join our team at Longdon Hall School. As an Education Support Professional, you will work closely with our teachers to provide high-quality education services to our students.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the planning, delivery, and teaching of individual students or small groups, in accordance with the School's Curriculum framework and related policies.

You will also contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan, and promote the physical, educational, and moral development of our students.

In addition, you will take responsibility for coordinating the teaching, development, assessment, recording, and reporting of subjects and areas of learning across key stages as agreed with the Head Teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To assist in devising, implementing, and reviewing individual education plans, individual behaviour plans, and other relevant individual plans in conjunction with other staff.
  2. To help organise the classroom, its resources, student groupings, and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation appropriate for students.
  3. To ensure Learning Support Assistants/Tutors/Instructors and care staff (where necessary) are well briefed and able to produce appropriate and effective resources/teaching aids.

Salary: Up to £36,925 per annum dependant on experience. Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Location: Staffordshire. Contract: Permanent, Term Time only.
