Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced midwife to join our team as a Developmental Labour Ward Co-ordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main Responsibilities
As a Developmental Labour Ward Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery suite and triage, ensuring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will facilitate innovative and evidence-based midwifery practice through professional leadership and supporting the clinical team.

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is a large acute and specialized hospital trust that provides a range of local acute services to the residents of Worcestershire and more specialized services to a larger population in Herefordshire and beyond.
Person Specification
We are looking for a midwife with recent labour ward experience, ability to exercise professional accountability and responsibility, and ability to work flexibly and cover all shift patterns. You should also have a proven track record of mentoring student midwives and have a strong commitment to midwifery practice.
Key Skills
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and management skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to provide holistic and appropriate care. You should also be able to question and challenge management plans where appropriate.
