Midwife Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Midwife to join our Continuity of Carer team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their babies throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and provide care to women and their babies, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and optimal outcomes for patients.
- Participate in audit and quality improvement initiatives to drive best practice and patient safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Trust and national guidelines.
- Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
- Proven experience in all areas of midwifery, with a strong focus on continuity of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage time, and make informed decisions.
- Computer literate, with experience of using electronic patient records and other clinical systems.
