Purosearch is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join their well-established nursing home in Leatherhead, Surrey. As a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality care, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring exceptional care standards are met.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure smooth and effective running of the nursing home. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and leading clinical teams, ensuring compliance with care standards and regulations.
  • Supporting and mentoring nursing staff, ensuring their professional development.
  • Delivering person-centred care to residents, with a particular focus on those with dementia.
  • Taking charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC pin.
  • Experience as a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, or be a strong nurse looking to step up into a leadership role.
  • Prior experience working in a nursing home setting, with a good understanding of dementia care.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent leadership abilities.
