About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Deputy Manager to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the overall management of our nursing home in Derby.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to staff under your supervision, ensuring they have the necessary support, training, and resources to deliver high-quality care.
  • Care Planning and Delivery: Work closely with the Registered Manager to develop and implement person-centred care plans that meet the needs of our service users.
  • Staff Development and Support: Identify and address any training or development needs of staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent care.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure that all staff under your supervision contribute to providing a safe and well-structured environment for service users, with a focus on respect, dignity, and holistic care.
  • Clinical Governance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring that all clinical nursing procedures and treatments are in line with clinical governance and clinical effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mental health environment, with a strong understanding of leadership and management principles.
  • Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent, with current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN).
  • Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrable values and commitment to leading and supporting a diverse team, with knowledge of health and safety matters and risk management.
