Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a range of commercial properties in a local patch, undertaking inspections and arranging planned and reactive maintenance, overseeing rent payments and chasing when necessary, and organizing VAT returns and insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring timely rent collection and maintenance
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect properties and identify potential issues
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to arrange maintenance and repairs
- Process VAT returns and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Property Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills
