We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Disease Ecology. This is a tenure-track position with a 75%/25% research/teaching appointment, and a 75%/25% split appointment between CFWE and CVM. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a strong and externally funded research program in disease ecology, contributing to a proposed new interdisciplinary initiative to address environmental resilience and global health, and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations with scientists at various institutions and government agencies.
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per year.
Required Skills and Qualifications: A PhD in wildlife, ecology, biology, environmental/public health, or related field, and expertise in the ecology of infectious diseases (particularly those that are zoonotic) in free ranging vertebrates at the time employment begins.
