We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team as an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Disease Ecology. This is a 9-month tenure-track position with a 75%/25% research/teaching appointment, and a 75%/25% split appointment between the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment (CFWE) and the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM).
The successful candidate will establish a strong and externally funded research program in disease ecology, contribute to a proposed new interdisciplinary initiative at Auburn University to address environmental resilience and global health, and foster interdisciplinary and multisectoral collaborations with scientists at Auburn University, as well as other institutions and government agencies.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
Minimum Qualifications: A PhD in wildlife, ecology, biology, environmental/public health, or related field, and expertise in the ecology of infectious diseases (particularly those that are zoonotic) in free ranging vertebrates at the time employment begins.
