Job Title: Audit and Accounts Senior

Job Overview

TPF Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join their team as an Audit and Accounts Senior. As a key member of the audit and accounts team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, contributing to a team that helps them achieve their business and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing financial reports for statutory, management, and ad hoc purposes
  • Planning, budgeting, finalizing audit files, and managing the audit process efficiently
  • Collaborating with the team to meet all deadlines and exceed client expectations
  • Delegating and overseeing work, providing learning strategies for trainees
  • Mentoring and supporting trainees
  • Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities or improvements for clients by challenging existing methodologies

Requirements
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) (ideally)
  • Proficiency in various accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, and Iris is advantageous but not essential)
  • Solid audit experience, or a strong willingness to learn
  • Excellent analytical skills with a commercial approach to assignments
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience in managing audit and accounts preparation from planning to completion
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proactive and determined attitude
