Finance Director for Financial Reporting

At Novo Nordisk, we're committed to creating a world with no limits for people with diabetes. We're seeking a seasoned Finance Director to lead our Financial Reporting team in our Gatwick office.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced finance professional to oversee the financial reporting process for three legal entities: Novo Nordisk Holding Limited, Novo Nordisk Research Centre of Oxford, and the main UK sales marketing affiliate. As Finance Director, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making, ensuring compliance with all relevant internal and external accounting and taxation regulations.

  1. You will lead a team of financial professionals in preparing and reviewing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in financial reporting.
  3. Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in financial analysis and reporting.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance, and professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality financial information on time.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and regulations.
