A dynamic opportunity has emerged for a skilled Criminal Lawyer to collaborate with Ashville Knight, a distinguished Legal 500 firm based in Oxford.

The successful candidate will oversee a diverse caseload and possess prior experience in private client and regulatory crime. The estimated salary for this role is £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, inclusive of benefits.

This is a rewarding opportunity to represent clients throughout all stages of criminal proceedings, from pre-charge to post-conviction, and provide strategic and tactical guidance to clients in complex and sensitive matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising and representing clients in criminal matters including serious offenses, breaches, and white-collar cases.
  • Representing clients in all stages of criminal proceedings, including pre-trial, trial, and post-conviction hearings.
  • Drafting legal documents, including correspondence, witness statements, and pleadings.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 years PQE.
  • Experience managing your own caseload.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
  • A proactive approach with interest in business development.
