Machinery Maintenance Specialist

Mac Recruit Group represents a large group of companies that specialize in the sale, service, and support of JCB machinery. We are seeking a Machinery Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Carlisle. This role involves conducting routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the crusher plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the crusher plant.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in JCB crushers and related machinery.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform major overhauls and ensure machinery complies with safety and operational standards.
- Attend breakdowns on-site, providing rapid and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
For this role, we require relevant qualifications, such as City and Guild, NVQ or SVQ in Construction Plant / HGV / Light Vehicle etc (essential). Additionally, experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment is necessary.
The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a competitive salary reviewed yearly, 39-hour basic working week, appraisal program, and 30 days annual leave increasing with length of service up to a total of 35 days.
