Luton Bennett is a well-established manufacturer seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial environment, with a strong background in mechanical engineering.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £39,312 per annum, paid at a rate of £18.32 per hour. In addition to the competitive salary, employees are offered a range of benefits, including:

Job Description

As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including:

  • Split between PPM (Nights Bias) and Reactive Maintenance (Days Bias)
  • Mechanical work on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, bearings, pipework and steam systems
  • Updating maintenance system and handing over to the following shift team
  • Working as part of a mixed team of electrical and mechanical engineers
  • Working on varied production lines, including mill machinery, biomass and treatment plant

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical engineer within an industrial environment or similar
  • Any Mechanical qualifications will be advantageous

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern for this role will be:

Week 1: Mon - Fri 2pm-10pm, Week 2: Mon – Fri 6am-2pm, Sun 10pm – 6am, Week 3: Mon- Thurs 10 pm – 6am
