Clinical Review Officer

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Review Officer to join their Clinical Review Team. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to deliver comprehensive clinical reports that meet commissioner targets for placement reviews and the Trust's rehabilitation and repatriation agendas.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide clinical assessment and formulation of care pathways for complex individuals in various settings, including out-of-area placements, forensic services, rehabilitation, and acute settings.
- Demonstrate a lead liaison and information role with clinical colleagues in acute, rehabilitation, and community settings, as well as working with placement providers to ensure safety, quality, and best value.
- Understand and apply relevant legal frameworks and legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the DOLs/Best Interests agendas.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical services. The successful candidate will be a skilled clinician with experience in acute mental health care settings, risk assessment, and positive risk management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical governance and be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
The role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to have a current full driving license and access to a motor vehicle for business use.
Requirements:- Substantial experience in acute mental health care settings
- Highly developed specialist knowledge gained within a similar environment over a significant period of time
- Significant experience of risk assessment and positive risk management
- Proven experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team
