The Clinical Review Officer will play a key role in the Clinical Review Team, working within the Acute Services portfolio. The Team delivers comprehensive clinical reports to meet commissioner targets and the Trust's rehabilitation and repatriation agendas.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessment and formulation of care pathways for complex individuals in various settings, including out-of-area placements, forensic services, rehabilitation, and acute settings.
- Lead liaison and information role with clinical colleagues in acute, rehabilitation, and community settings, as well as working with placement providers to ensure safety, quality, and best value.
- Understand and apply least restrictive principles, recovery, and relevant legal frameworks, including The Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and DOLs/Best Interests agendas.

- Specialist expertise across a range of procedures, professional knowledge acquired through degree/diploma, specialist clinical/managerial training, and evidence of continuing professional development.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Acute Mental Health care settings and significant experience of risk assessment and positive risk management.
Must have a full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle for business use.
