Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Standards Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vocational qualifications meet the highest standards.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering and assessing vocational qualifications, with a strong understanding of the relevant specifications. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake sampling of learner work to establish that assessment outcomes and internal verification processes meet national standards.
  • Provide support and development to centres on sampling-related matters.
  • Produce reports for centres and Pearson on sampling undertaken, outcomes reached, and support provided.

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering and assessing vocational qualifications.
  • A commitment to quality assurance.
  • Good working knowledge of the relevant specifications.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be based in the UK and will be required to travel to South East Asia around twice a year for 2-3 days.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
