Job Description

We are looking for an experienced NVQ Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for assessing apprentices in various settings, ensuring they meet the required standards and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly one-to-one visits with apprentices, providing coaching and guidance to support their development.
  • Delivering training activities, including stand-up sessions and group workshops, to help apprentices achieve their goals.
  • Maintaining accurate records of apprentice progress, using assessment documentation as required.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with apprentices, mentors, and employers, identifying new opportunities and progression routes.
  • Participating in quality assurance activities, including standardization sessions and internal verifier observations.
Requirements:
  • A relevant assessor qualification (A1, CAVA, or D32/D33).
  • Ongoing occupational competence and a good standard of general education (e.g., 5 GCSEs or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Estimated Salary: £32,500 - £37,500 per annum.
