Real Estate Capital Raising Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Real Estate Capital Raising to join our team. As a key member of our capital raising strategy, you will be responsible for delivering on the objectives of the firm as relates to real estate through direct engagement with prospects and leveraging our existing distribution team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect Engagement: Identify and engage with investor prospects globally, acting as a central sales function to support delivery
- Buy Ratings: Focus on maximizing consultant buy ratings for real estate on a global basis
- Futures Strategy: Support the Head of Real Estate Capital Raising in shaping the future strategy of the real estate platform through gathering market and investor knowledge and acting as the client voice for future strategy and demand
- Client Conferences: Participate in internal and external client conferences and industry events, including presenting and/or moderating panel discussions at industry forums
- Collaboration: Collaborate with and support the real estate fund management and investment specialist team, including support of the preparation of and delivery of presentation materials for investor meetings/pitches
- CRM Management: Maintain all investor opportunities, meeting/call notes, and related contacts in LGIM's CRM system, to assist with cross-platform information sharing and intelligence gathering
- Global Private Markets Solutions: Engage with investors in a global private markets solutions-oriented dialogue, understanding LGIM's investment framework that integrates both long-term strategic and near-term tactical asset allocation recommendations across real asset categories, geographies, and structures
- Client Relationship Management: Support the ongoing client relationship management as appropriate with existing and new investors, ensuring proactive engagement and responsiveness to needs and requests, including assisting with the due diligence process
- Highly Motivated Team Player: A highly motivated team player with proven communication and distribution skills
- Investment Management Experience: Previous experience in the investment management industry, with a focus on real estate
- Institutional Investor Expertise: Proven track record of success in dealing with institutional investors
- Collaborative Team Player: Experienced and collaborative team player and culture carrier
- Network and Access: Demonstrable network of investor contacts, preferably across client segments and regions in Europe – e.g., pension plans, insurance companies, endowments/foundations, consultants, and potentially retail/HNW distribution platforms – ideally with established access to real estate and private markets decision-makers
- Presentation Skills: Experience in presenting or discussing individual real estate investments or transactions in detail
- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and understanding of industry trends and investor requirements
- New Product Development: Experience with new product development and execution, including strategy development, creation of PPMs, marketing plans, and related marketing materials
- Broad Capital Markets Knowledge: Broad capital markets knowledge, with real estate as a focus. Demonstration of broader knowledge across other real asset sectors is a significant plus
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with presentation experience in small and large group settings
We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
