Experience the excitement of a global capital formation team at Goldman Sachs, driving fundraising efforts for real estate investments. As a strategic capital raising executive, you will join our London office and play a vital role in supporting ongoing marketing, client relations, and fundraising initiatives for our real estate business.

The Alternatives Capital Formation (ACF) team is a dynamic group of 100 professionals across 10 offices worldwide, including New York, London, Hong Kong, and Bengaluru. Our ACF real estate specialists are responsible for developing go-to-market strategies, executing investor communications, and leading various projects to drive success in our real estate strategies.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading business development initiatives for new fund launches, including co-investments
  • Collaborating with business leaders and teams within GS real estate to create and maintain presentation materials, investor reporting, and other investor communications
  • Overseeing responses to investor queries and due diligence questionnaires, as well as managing onsite and virtual due diligence sessions
  • Analyzing market research and competitive intel to identify trends and market opportunities, and helping develop potential product enhancements
  • Quarterbacking new vehicle negotiations and on-going LP problem solving in conjunction with the wider Sales and real estate teams
  • Producing talking points, ad hoc presentations, and strategic projects, and participating in client pitches and investor conversations
  • Becoming an expert on GS real estate funds and investments, including their investment objectives and performance characteristics
  • Serving as a player-coach to analysts and associates and contributing to a positive team culture

You will have active involvement with senior leaders and support a highly productive team.

We seek individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 7+ years of experience in investor relations, preferably with a real estate background or experience
  • A strong work ethic and ability to multitask and execute a wide range of assignments, meeting demanding deadlines
  • Strategic thinking skills, with the ability to produce creative, compelling, detailed marketing materials, interpreting and presenting complex investment concepts in a simplistic manner
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively communicate results
  • Leadership skills and project management capabilities
  • A desire to contribute to a positive culture and operate with integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity
  • European language skills are beneficial
