The Role: Environmental Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our team. As an Environmental Advisor, you will play a key role in providing environmental advice to our colleagues and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing environmental guidance and support to our teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
  2. Conducting site inspections and investigations to identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  3. Developing and implementing environmental management plans to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment.
  4. Collaborating with our teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and reduce our environmental footprint.
  5. Providing training and awareness programs to our employees on environmental issues and best practices.
  6. Staying up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and best practices to ensure our compliance.
  7. Developing and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to ensure our compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as an Environmental Advisor or in a related field, preferably in the rail industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
