Principle Ecologist Opportunity

We are excited to partner with a leading design, engineering, and project delivery company to fill a key role in their environmental team.

About the Role:

As a Principle Ecologist, you will be responsible for leading the development of processes, policies, and procedures to ensure the company's environmental commitments are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development of Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs), and Ecology Chapters for Environmental Statements.
  • Manage complex projects, including commercial, resourcing, and scheduling activities, as well as managing sub-contracts and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

  • Experience in bio-net gain and managing complex projects.
  • Significant experience in delivering PEAs, BNG assessments, EcIAs, and Ecology Chapters for Environmental Statements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
