Job Title: Water Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Hygiene Specialist to join our team at SMS Environmental Ltd. As a Water Hygiene Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest safety standards for people within UK communities we serve.

About the Role:

As a Water Hygiene Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring customer and business compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274 part 2, BS and other relevant industry standards and guidance
  • Promoting and supporting Health & Safety regulatory standards and practice at site and in our service delivery
  • Problem solving /diagnosing faults within Plumbing Systems and making recommendations for maintenance and remedial work where appropriate
  • Co-ordinating with the internal SMS Quality Control/Assurance team to ensure delivery of related documentation to regulatory standards
  • Compiling accurate schematic diagrams of domestic water systems
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Career history within the Water Hygiene Industry and/or conducting Risk Assessments
  • Built key client relationships to identify types and levels of Legionella
  • Ensured customer and business compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274 part 2, BS and other relevant industry standards and guidance
  • Effectively communicated details of Legionella and providing client focused solutions
  • Monitoring risks and competent knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulatory legislation and practice
  • Strong IT skills, particularly within Apple applications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (Enhanced DBS check)
