Job Summary

We are seeking an Ecommerce Trading Specialist to assist in the execution of ecommerce strategies and drive online sales performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head of Ecommerce, CRM team, and marketing manager to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance of our ecommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Management:
    Assist in managing product listings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on the website. Coordinate with the product team to manage inventory levels and availability.
  2. Sales and Performance Monitoring:
    Monitor daily sales performance and key ecommerce metrics. Generate reports on sales trends, website traffic, and customer behaviour to support data-driven decision-making.
  3. Promotional Activities:
    Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, including product launches, sales events, and seasonal promotions. Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure promotions are effectively communicated across all channels.
  4. Customer Experience:
    Assist in enhancing the online customer journey by ensuring a seamless and user-friendly website experience. Provide support for the customer experience team related to product availability, order status, and other ecommerce-related issues.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination:
    Work closely with the CRM team to align on customer engagement and retention strategies. Support in executing email marketing campaigns, social media activities, and other performance-based digital initiatives.
  6. Data Analysis:
    Analyse ecommerce performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve sales and customer engagement.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  2. Experience in ecommerce, online trading, or a related role is preferred.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  4. Proficiency in ecommerce platforms and tools (Shopify experience is a plus).
Preferred Skills
  1. Passion for dogs and familiarity with the pet products industry.
  2. Experience with CRM systems and email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred).
  3. Basic knowledge of digital marketing and performance marketing tools.
