Job Opportunity: BESS Field Service Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the North West Region, specializing in Energy Storage Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their energy storage systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Perform start-up and commissioning services at customer locations, ensuring seamless integration of energy storage systems.
  • Collaborate with our in-house system engineering group to develop and improve products, incorporating field experiences and feedback.
  • Travel to various locations within your area, with regular visits to our office in Sunderland, to provide on-site support and training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrical installation projects, with a strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Previous experience in an Electrical Contracting or Construction environment, with a focus on renewable energy and energy storage systems.
  • Desirable knowledge of electrical works, including renewables, battery storage, and electric vehicle charge points.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages and able to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to travel extensively within your area.
