Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain data products and metrics to support the Software Engineering team's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business value.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to prioritize and deliver data products that meet business needs.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure data products meet their needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Strong ability to work with data and understand engineering productivity data, with knowledge of APIs and queries highly desirable.
  • Ability to design and create dashboards that help visualize the value of the Software Engineering team for senior stakeholders.
  • Dynamic, creative, problem-solving approach, with the ability to come up with ideas and hypotheses that enhance the value of the team's bespoke engineering metrics platform.
  • Experience working with technical tools and automation, with a willingness to get hands-on where needed.
  • Experience creating PowerBI dashboards (or experience with an equivalent dashboard tool) to pull together management data in a meaningful way from multiple sources.
  • Experience managing the delivery of value at speed in agile product teams with a high rate of change.
