About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Operations Coordinator to join our Client Money Audit team at The Ardonagh Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of external annual audits within a client money environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Client Money & Statutory Audits
    • Collaborate with the Client Money Audit Manager to develop and implement audit plans
    • Collate and review evidence to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Maintain regular communication with internal management and external auditors to ensure audit progression
  • Coordinate Audit Activities
    • Coordinate the completion of samples by their respective due dates
    • Collate and review evidence before communicating to internal and external auditors
  • Ensure Compliance
    • Fulfil responsibilities in line with agreed processes to achieve agreed objectives
    • Ensure compliance with client and insurer money rules as per FCA Client Asset Sourcebook
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Experience in a finance environment within a regulated finance services organisation, ideally insurance
    • Audit experience
  • Skills
    • CASS 5 knowledge is preferable but not essential
    • MS Excel to at least an intermediate level
    • Experience of general ledger accounting systems
    • Analytical and investigative skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Personal Qualities
    • Strong communication skills across all mediums
    • Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation
