Job Title: Finance Transformation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Transformation Lead to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving financial process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive income recognition policy that meets all accounting standards.
  • Streamline our invoicing process by identifying inefficiencies and working with cross-functional teams to automate and optimize workflows.
  • Enhance our credit control process to ensure timely and accurate management of accounts receivable.
  • Lead the migration of invoicing and credit control processes to a centralized team, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Design and standardize reconciliation processes, developing tools to support these new systems.
  • Implement new processes and train the team for effective management of accruals and prepayments.
  • Redesign financial reporting processes, improve automation, and provide enhanced access to financial data for budget holders.
  • Find ways to cut down timelines, standardize tasks, and boost efficiency through SOPs and templates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience of leading finance transformation projects within a large organization.
  • Strong project management, proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and the ability to lead and mentor teams through change.
