Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of a team to provide a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children. You will play a key role in developing the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual capabilities of each child, promoting their confidence and self-esteem through a range of play experiences and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years

  • Interact sensitively with children to promote their confidence and self-esteem
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure seamless communication and care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to childcare and education
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare & Education
  • Experience of working with children in full-day care settings
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and associated frameworks
  • An ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
