Specsavers: A Career in Optics

We are seeking a skilled and caring Optical Service Advisor to join our team at Specsavers. As a Senior Clinical Technician, you will provide excellent customer service in all care pathways, including setting up technical equipment and performing diagnostics/pre-assessment procedures under the supervision of the optometrist.

The ideal candidate will have previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant. We offer great training and development opportunities, as well as a competitive salary of £25,000 per year, plus a staff bonus.

About the Role

As a Senior Clinical Technician, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a high level of satisfaction
  2. Mainly carrying out pre-screening examinations and working alongside the wider team in day-to-day clinics
  3. Taking measurements and supporting patients with collections, ensuring fit, comfort, and accuracy of frames are checked thoroughly
  4. Maintaining delivery of excellent customer service at all times, playing a valuable part of a customer journey and successful retail team
  5. Ensuring all data protection and regulations are explained and followed
  6. Completing necessary diagnostics with the customer while adhering to current IPC and PPE guidelines

Based in Kings Lynn, our Hardwick store offers free onsite parking and is conveniently located near several bus routes.
