About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to join our team as the Head of Service for the Acute and Community Directorate. As a senior leader, you will play a key role in shaping the future of mental health care in Sheffield and will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality services to our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Acute and Community Directorate, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health care to the communities of Sheffield.
  • Work closely with senior clinical professionals and lead multi-professional teams within mental health.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Manage multiple services within a mental health service, ensuring effective resource management and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to ensure alignment of priorities and support innovation in service delivery.
Requirements
  • Significant experience of managing multiple services within a mental health service.
  • Proven track record of leading change and improving service delivery.
  • Strong financial management skills and ability to manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
