Simulation Team Lead

We're looking for a talented and creative Simulation Team Lead to join our journey in developing next-generation autonomous vehicles.

About the Role

As a Simulation Team Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers in building the simulation platform to develop and evaluate Wayve's driving intelligence. You'll work closely with other leaders from across robotics, machine learning development, and data to ensure the quality and efficiency of the simulator and deliver an effective evaluation and development platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team and work closely with other leaders to ensure the quality and efficiency of the simulator.
  • Help define and drive the simulation roadmap to deliver on company goals and priorities.
  • Work closely with team members to develop career plans and growth trajectories.
  • Partner with leadership to maintain a culture of impact, performance, and health.
Requirements

We're looking for a proven track record of managing engineering teams, experience with roadmap planning, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and alignment with peers towards milestones and deliverables. You should have a solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and experience building systems in Python and/or C++.
