Job Description

The role of Deputy Training Lead in the Haematology Department at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading healthcare organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, delivering, and developing first-class training to ensure the competency and maintenance of learning throughout the department.

This position is a vital part of our leadership team, working closely with the Training Leads to support training activities, inductions, and portfolio work. As a specialist in Haematology, you will have a deep understanding of the subject matter and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues. Your expertise will help us provide a patient-focused quality service that is committed to the trust vision of 'Building Healthier Lives'.

Responsibilities
  1. To implement and deliver training programs to ensure the competency and maintenance of learning throughout the department.
  2. To work closely with the Training Leads to support training activities, inductions, and portfolio work.
  3. To maintain knowledge of specialist healthcare science activities and continue professional development in accordance with HCPC guidelines.
