Electronic Trading Governance and Control Specialist

Deutsche Bank is seeking a highly skilled Electronic Trading Governance and Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Electronic Trading function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of operational risk across our electronic trading activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of a risk and control framework for electronic trading
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate operational risks associated with electronic trading
  • Perform quality assurance testing and challenge standards of controls based on data-driven analysis and regulatory changes
  • Assist in the review of material changes to trading algorithms and question business and technology where necessary
  • Work with technology to prioritize improvements for Electronic Trading Governance Tooling, test and sign off changes to workflows and enhance Management Reporting

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of electronic trading and/or risk management frameworks, automated and algorithmic trading including High Frequency Trading and Direct Electronic Access
  • Background in electronic trading operational risk management, audit, technology, production support of electronic trading solutions, or with the ability to assess testing results and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Knowledge of technology processes relevant to electronic trading businesses (limit implementations, testing, deployment, and resiliency)
  • Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle associated with electronic trading and associated risks, supporting technology (JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, SharePoint, Service Now, Excel and PowerPoint)
