About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Citizenship Teacher to join our team as a Subject Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Citizenship department and teaching high-quality lessons to students up to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Citizenship department and develop a curriculum that meets the needs of our students
  • Teach high-quality lessons to students up to Key Stage 5
  • Line manage the subject areas and ensure that the department is running smoothly
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that our students receive a well-rounded education
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies

Requirements
  • Experience of teaching Citizenship and PSHE to students up to Key Stage 5
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of our students
