About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Citizenship Teacher to join our team as a Subject Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Citizenship department and teaching high-quality lessons to students up to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Citizenship department and develop a curriculum that meets the needs of all students
  • Teach Citizenship lessons to students up to Key Stage 5
  • Line manage the Citizenship team and provide support and guidance as needed
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education
Requirements
  • Experience of teaching Citizenship to students up to Key Stage 5
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for Citizenship education and commitment to raising student achievement
