About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PSHE / RE Teacher to join our dynamic team as a Subject Lead in Citizenship. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Citizenship department and teaching high-quality, engaging lessons to students up to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Citizenship department and develop a curriculum that meets the needs of all students
  • Teach Citizenship lessons to students up to Key Stage 5
  • Line manage the Citizenship team and provide support and guidance as needed
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure student progress
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education
Requirements
  • Experience of teaching PSHE / RE and leading a department
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to develop and deliver engaging lessons
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and staff
  • Passion for education and commitment to improving student outcomes
