Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to join our forward-thinking Orthodontic Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting medical/dental staff at the chair side and participating in nurse-led clinics, providing high-quality care to patients of the Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Departments.

Role Requirements
  • To assist medical/dental staff at the chair side in the provision of dental care to patients.
  • To participate in nurse-led clinics, implementing programmes of care and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team in providing a first-class service for all patients and carers.

The post holder will work within a team of dental nurses in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial, as well as within a wider multidisciplinary team within the department. The Orthodontic specialty is closely linked to Maxillo-facial Surgery Department and Plastic Surgery Department, especially through the work associated with Orthognathic surgery and Cleft Lip & Palate patients.
