We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our residential service supporting young people aged 8-18 with learning disabilities and associated challenging behaviors. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care while fostering a nurturing and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager in daily operations, ensuring the physical, social, and emotional development of young people.
  • Lead a team, motivating staff to build meaningful relationships with young people, helping them overcome obstacles and celebrate achievements.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while coordinating daily routines and engaging in activities that promote the well-being of each individual.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people in a care setting.
  • Strong motivational and staff development skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, being articulate and flexible.
