Job Description

Job Title: Product Safety Lead for Submarine Systems

Location: Flexible working arrangements available across various locations including Frimley, Filton, Broadoak, Brough, Manchester, Weymouth, or Barrow-In-Furness.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leverage your expertise to lead a small team in producing a functional safety case for submarine systems.
  • Collaborate with System Engineers, Human Factors Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and safety management.
  • Analyze complex safety data using techniques such as Fault Tree analysis and Event Tree Analysis.
  • Develop written function safety justifications and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • STEM degree or relevant experience in product safety and submarine systems.

Desirable:

Previous experience in leading teams and delivering complex safety cases.
