Electrical Project Engineer

At Briggs of Burton PLC, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our global team working on high-value CAPEX projects in the hygienic liquid process sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Briggs and Client Health & Safety standards across all business activities.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Engineering team to deliver projects on time and budget.
  • Develop and mentor graduate and apprentice electrical engineers.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure professional standards are maintained.
  • Contribute to the Sales & Proposals team by developing technical and commercial solutions.
  • Manage quality, completeness, consistency, and accuracy of deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Lead engineers on projects, responsible for cost management, design/engineering deliverables, site supervision, and commissioning.
  • Communicate project progress and ensure Client involvement throughout the project.
  • Attend project sites as agreed with your Line Manager/Director to suit project needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive Client relationships, including Key Client Management.
  • Liaise with the Briggs project team, Client team, and third-party suppliers.
  • Manage electrical installation contracts on time and budget, including tender preparation, negotiation, and award.
