Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Autism Assistant to join our team at REESON Education. As a Autism Assistant, you will be responsible for providing tailored 1:1 support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a range of interventions to a KS1 child with ASD, including behavioral support and educational activities.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to the child, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate with the SENCo and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for the child.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the well-being and engagement of all students.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting children with ASD.
Requirements:
- Degree graduate from a reputable university.
- Experience working with children with ASD or other special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN and autism spectrum disorder.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
