Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

  • Providing individualized support to children with SEND, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a tailored and inclusive learning environment.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong passion for working with children with SEND and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, understanding, and confidence in managing challenging behavior.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs, or a willingness to learn and develop your skills in this area.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a variety of settings and with different age groups.
