Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEND in a classroom setting, providing individualized attention and assistance as needed.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure student progress and achievement.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and the ability to provide references.
