About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to children with SEND
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children with SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and respectful classroom culture
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Patience, understanding, and confidence in managing challenging behavior
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
