About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Repair Engineering team in the Gas Turbine Product Line.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry, utilizing your mechanical engineering expertise to drive process improvements and cost reductions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Repair Engineering team to develop and implement repair processes for gas turbine products.
  2. Analyze data to determine the requirements for component re-use and/or repair, working closely with overhauls, materials labs, and engineering colleagues.
  3. Document and compile information into repair schemes for engineering approval.
  4. Identify and develop cost reduction opportunities using SAP and liaise with Engineering facility colleagues.
  5. Make engineering recommendations based on investigation of hardware condition.
  6. Review and develop criteria for re-use and repair.
  7. Perform technical package activities in support of overhaul and 'in-field maintenance' processes.
  8. Write, revise, and maintain repair documents.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant experience.
  2. Knowledge of gas turbine operation and maintenance, preferably SGT.
  3. Proven record of implementing technical solutions and improvements.
  4. Ability to work to processes and procedures.
  5. Able to contribute to a team environment.
  6. Experience in the Repairs field is desirable.
  7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  8. Computer literate and experienced in Microsoft Office suite, PLM, and SAP.
