About the Role

As a Field Service Commissioning Engineer for Small Gas Turbines, you will be part of a team that supports our fleet in the field, mobilizing to deal with various activities including commissioning, overhauls, and breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across one application type and control systems (PCS7, CLogix).
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and perform starting and running checks, including operating and driven unit knowledge.
  • Perform root cause analysis of start failures, set up DLE mapping, and perform a trim balance.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with business partnering teams and external customers.
  • Contribute to the overall planning of projects, on and offsite, in conjunction with key business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven engineer with a degree-level qualification or equivalent, experienced with rotating equipment and an understanding of gas turbine operations.
  • Previous experience in commissioning and/or troubleshooting gas turbines or similar capital equipment.
  • Excellent customer focus and communication skills.
  • A flexible attitude to travel, with the ability to mobilize on short notice.
