As a Ceremonies Usher with Richmond and Wandsworth Council, you will be responsible for ensuring that all couples and their guests have a positive and memorable experience during their wedding ceremony.

You will be the first point of contact for couples and their guests, providing a warm and welcoming greeting and assisting them with any queries or concerns they may have. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with couples and their families, making them feel valued and supported throughout the ceremony.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on providing a high level of support and care to all couples and their guests. You will also have a strong attention to detail, enabling you to manage multiple tasks and priorities with ease.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., hospitality, event management)">
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., hospitality, events, customer service)">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team">
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet">
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask">

Salary Range: £13.85-£16.76 per hour (depending on skills, knowledge, and experience)
